Goal

The aim of the project is to carry out a campaign to educate and raise awareness of 520 young people in Bihor county, aged 15-18 years, on the impact of environmental problems on everyday life and the importance of protecting nature, regardless of the living environment (urban or rural).

Objectives

Educating and raising awareness of young people through non-formal and informal methods on environmental protection, developing critical thinking and identifying solutions to environmental problems.

Promoting proactive and responsible behavior towards nature, addressed to young people, citizens and authorities of Marghita and Bihor County.

Raising young people's awareness of the importance of biodiversity and of the rights and obligations of citizens regarding environmental protection.

Main activities

Active protection of nature and the environment" - exploring local habitats, creating informative materials and organizing 5 public workshops within the ProNatura Circle.

"Traveling in a Polluted World" – role-playing games, interviews with experts, critical thinking workshops, creation of information materials and presentation events.

"Closer to nature" - creation of an adopted ecosystem in the school yard (orchard and garden), applied education.

"Outdoor workshops" - educational activities in the Black Forest and the Pța Stream Nature Reserve, observation activities, civic-ecological education and campaigns for tourists.

Results

104 information boards, 26 attendance lists, 5 public workshops, 100 posters, 2000 flyers, 500 brochures and videos distributed online.

26 debate workshops, 26 theoretical-applied workshops, 104 thematic digital factsheets, information materials and online videos.

1 adopted habitat developed, 26 educational actions, 1 activity report.

5 environmental camps, 5 tourist awareness campaigns, 5 activity reports.
